Greene County Scottish Rite Carshow Fundraiser

On 7/22/12 the Greenville County Scottish Rite held a fundraiser for children's shoes, for the children of Greene County, Last year they raised enough to get 532 pairs of shoes for children right here in Greene County. The local Ridge Runners Car Club donates they're time and resources as well to help out with this worthy cause.

“Journey Stories of Tennessee” was presented at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center on July 28, 2010. Artists, artisans, dancers, poets, songwriters and musicians shared 35 visual pieces and seven performance pieces. The multimedia performance and art exhibition was coordinated by James Ben: Studio & Gallery Art Center in cooperation with the Nathanael Greene Museum’s “Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit: Journey Stories,” which concluded Aug. 7.
