Food City Event 'Makes Fun, Raises Money for Cancer Society'

Greeneville Food City stores hosted their annual "Kids' Day" at their store on Snapps Ferry Road on June 9, 2012. The event featured free food, games and prizes, a picture coloring contest and a dunking booth. In a prize drawing, Jasmine Falco was a bicycle. The dunking booth raised $255.13. Gary Helbert, manager of Store 608 on the Asheville Highway, and Roger Cutshall, manager of Store 606 on Snapps Ferry Road, presented the cash to Dixie Miller, co-captain of the Asbury United Methodist Church team for the up following weekend's Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
